The poem ‘Fire and Ice’ composed by ‘Robert Frost’. Fire and Ice is a short poem. According to the poet, the world can destroy by fire and also by ice. ‘Fire’ symbolises human desires, greed cruelty etc. On the other hand, ‘Ice’ symbolises hatred, rigid, indifference in human relationships. Thus it can destroy twice one by fire and then by ice. The poet has the view that both, fire and ice are equally competent in bringing the world to a complete end.
